Implementing a sucessful business intelligence system requires various stages and therefore knowledge in various areas:The analysis of the user requirements are collected at the beginning of developing the system; then the necessary structures and functions are defined in a specification sheet to assure the best possible support for the solution in the future. Suitable ante-systems and the corresponding interfaces have to be defined.
